BHUTAN SPACE WEEK (17-23 February, 2020)

Inspired by the vision of His Majesty the King, Bhutan started space activities in 2016 by participating in the 2nd Joint Global Multi-Nations BIRDS CubeSat Project which was hosted at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. As a result, the country’s first satellite named BHUTAN-1 was developed and launched in 2018. Following the launch of the country’s maiden satellite, much interest among the general public and especially the youth has been generated.

Space Quiz Competition - An activity for Bhutan Space Week

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!

For the Space Quiz Competition, registration is now open until 8th February, 2020.

Who is eligible for registration?
All youths who will be going to grade 9, 10, 11 & 12 in the academic year 2020 can form a team of 4 members each and register for the Space Quiz competition. The team can mix and match members regardless of which school they go to or which grade they are in.
