DIT invites applications from interested ICT personnel of Government agencies for a Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) fellowship for a training course on "Promotion of Bridging the International Digital Divide " initiated by Japan Telecom Engineering & Consulting Service (JTEC), Tokyo, Japan.
APT will provide fellowship to the selected trainees which covers round trip air ticket, accommodation and perdiem during the period of the training course.
The following selection criteria will apply:
- be or will be in-charge of policy or business related to bridging the digital divide,
- have sufficient knowledge of the English language to enable the participant to understand information & communications technologies and related information and to communicate with the lecturers and other participants,
- be in good health both physically and mentally, and
- meet the requirements set under "Guidelines for APT Fellowships under HRD Programme"
- meet RCSCs BSCR 2006 rules (6 months gap from the last training/workshop attended)
